Music from Copland House: New work for the ensemble (flute, clarinet, violin, cello, and piano) to be premiered in April, 2011. Commissioned through Meet the Composer.
Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center: New work for violin, clarinet, and piano to be premiered on November 20, 2011 in New York and also at Wigmore Hall in London, England.
Arizona Friends of Chamber Music: New work for piano quintet (piano plus string quartet) for the Tokyo String Quartet to be premiered in March, 2012.
Emerson String Quartet: new work for string quartet commissioned by the Houston Friends of Chamber Music for the organization's 50th anniversary season; to be premiered in April, 2011.
Quattro Mani: new piece for piano duo of Alice Rybak and Susan Grace, plus David Colson, percussion. Premiere date to be announced.
RECENTLY COMPLETED WORKS
Wild Ambrosia for violin and piano (2010), premiered by Soovin Kim, violin, and Ieva Jokubaviciute, piano, on the Lane Series (in honor of Jane Ambrose) at the University of Vermont, Burlington, VT and at the Kimmel Center, Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, Philadelphia, PA on May 4, 2010.
Sonata for Piano (2009) premiered by pianist Brian Connelly at the Texas Music Teachers' Association State Convention in Houston, TX on June 14, 2009. Also performed at the Music Teachers' National Association Convention in Albuquerque, NM on March 21, 2010.
L'œil écoute (The eye listens) (2009), a work for film/digitally created images with live music, in collaboration with Montreal visual artist, Jean Detheux, premiered by the Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble on July 10 and 11, 2009, Pittsburgh, PA.
String Trio (2008), premiered by the Janaki String Trio on September 19 and 21, 2008 in Los Angeles, CA.
Autumn Rhapsody (2008) for string orchestra, premiered by the Vermont Symphony on the orchestra's Fall, 2008 tour, September 24 - October 5, 2008, with Jaime Laredo conducting.
