Fade (2025) for alto saxophone

Program Notes:

Fade is a short virtuosic work for solo alto saxophone. Taking as its primary gesture, a syncopated, repeated minor third which fades into silence, the music moves from rhythmic acrobatics to more lyrical lines and back again.
